World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) is a global celebration dedicated to advocating for the rights, well-being, and inclusion of individuals with Down Syndrome. The date—3/21—represents the triplication of the 21st chromosome, which is unique to individuals with Down Syndrome. It’s a day to recognize their abilities, contributions, and the joy they bring to our communities.

Each year on WDSD, Fixxology goes all in to make an impact. Here’s how we celebrate and give back:
- Raising Funds for Local Down Syndrome Foundations
A portion of our sales on March 21st goes directly to supporting local Down Syndrome organizations that provide resources, education, and advocacy for individuals and their families. - Inviting Friends with Down Syndrome to Work in Our Shops
We love sharing our space with incredible individuals from the Down Syndrome community! On WDSD, we invite friends with Down Syndrome to help serve up Fixxology favorites, greet customers, and show the world just how capable, talented, and joyful they are. - Spreading Awareness & Love
We encourage our team and customers to wear crazy, mismatched socks—a worldwide WDSD tradition symbolizing uniqueness and embracing differences. Plus, we share stories, facts, and heartfelt messages on social media to help educate and inspire our community.
